Women for RSU will be closing out the school year at Rogers State with an informal get together sure to please hot chocolate lovers.
Scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the lobby of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center, the Women for RSU’s Cookies and Cocoa social event is an opportunity for students to enjoy complimentary cookies and hot chocolate while learning more about the organization and meet its mentors.
“Similar to the ice cream social held in September, this will be another open campus event – one at which we see students off, heading into finals week and Christmas break, with a delicious cup of hot chocolate,” said Olivia Woody, Women for RSU leadership committee foundation liaison. “We’ll have marshmallows, whipped cream and peppermint sticks to compliment the hot chocolate.”
This event is sponsored by Neely Agency in Claremore.
Women for RSU is an initiative that strives to provide young female students with a strong female influence in their lives in the form of adult mentors with an interest in positively guiding the students and helping cultivate them into future professionals.
