Rogers State University has named Anthony W. Tucker as the new media specialist in the Innovation Center. He will focus on integrating new media tools into strategic marketing plans for Innovation Center programs throughout northeast Oklahoma including special programs, the Build Bartlesville program, the Economic Gardening Conference, and the business incubator.
An RSU graduate, Tucker (B.S. ’12) spent the last 17 months as marketing director for northeast Oklahoma manufacturer Lucas Metal Works. Tucker began with the company through a for-credit internship established through the RSU School of Business and Technology. He then transitioned to full time Marketing Director.
Tucker led the rebranding of the company’s five brands, launched multiple websites, developed new dealer programs for the company’s brand of arena groomers and served as the official spokesman for the company, representing the company in television and radio segments and commercials.
The RSU Innovation Center works to foster economic development and address the educational needs of both business and industry in northeast Oklahoma.
It provides companies with support and resources to assist the growth from business concept to profitability. It also houses a business incubator program that provides advantages to start-ups, including close links to the university’s academic resources and professional and on-site business assistance.
