TTCU The Credit Union recently presented Rogers State University President Dr. Larry Rice with a $2,000 check to be used to support the university and its students.
Bryan Bradley, TTCU branch manager for Claremore, said the TTCU donation represents proceeds raised from users of the RSU-branded Visa Check Card, available from the credit union as part of its School Pride program.
The program provides its beneficiary schools with a small donation for every time a user swipes a school-branded card. RSU School Pride cards are available from any TTCU branch. The credit union presents proceeds to the school two times a year.
Since its inception in 2007, schools in northeastern Oklahoma have received more than $475,000 in donations through the program.
