Therapy Dogs Provide Stress Relief at RSU’s ‘Paws & Relax’ Event

Rogers State University’s Stratton Taylor Library welcomed guests of the four-legged variety this week for the library’s “Paws & Relax” event.

Kicking off Monday, Dec. 9, the event features therapy dogs on hand, or rather, on paw, in the library’s second floor lounge. Students, staff, faculty and others are encouraged to stop by and interact with them for a calming experience during finals week. The event continues for one more day, Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Handlers from Karing K9s, a volunteer organization which provides pet therapy visits, will be present to facilitate interactions between the therapy dogs and library visitors.
