The Rogers State University Art and Animation Association will present the AAA Student Art Show in the Baird Hall Foundations Gallery on Thursday, Feb. 18.
The gallery opening will take on Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. and will feature light refreshments as well as music provided by Ben McCullough. The art show will be open through March 9 and is free and open to the public.
The art show will feature nearly 50 pieces of original paintings, prints, sculptures, digital photos and more by association students. Select art pieces will be available for sale with 20 percent of sales benefiting the association.
Fourteen students will participate in the art show:
- Mai Pa Chee Vang, a visual arts – studio art senior from Collinsville;
- Hadassah Hendrickson, a visual arts – studio art sophomore from Claremore;
- J.D Easter, a senior visual arts – studio art senior from Strang;
- Sean Tyler, a visual arts – studio art sophomore from Tulsa;
- Heather Lynn Hudson, a visual arts – studio arts senior from Broken Arrow;
- Becka Pitts, a visual arts – graphic design sophomore from Stroud;
- Jazmin Quezada, a visual arts – studio arts junior from Claremore;
- Marithza Gallo, a visual arts – studio art senior from Collinsville;
- Dylan Spaulding, a visual arts – multimedia senior from Tulsa;
- Maggie Parker, a visual arts – graphic design senior from Pryor;
- Shaina Moua, a visual arts – graphic design senior from Collinsville;
- Jerica Scullawl-Gates, a visual arts – studio art graduate from Collinsville;
- Kazoua Her, a visual arts – multimedia senior from Collinsville;
- Sharleen Branch, a visual arts – multimedia senior from Bartlesville.
