U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. will visit Rogers State University on Wednesday, August 17 for a town hall meeting.
The town hall will be held at 10 a.m. in the Centennial Center Ballroom on RSU’s Claremore Campus, 1701 W. Will Rogers Blvd. The event is free and open to the public.
Coburn will take questions from the audience regarding an array of issues important to Oklahoma and the nation, including his role with the Gang of Six and their plan to cut spending and reduce the deficit.
“I encourage everyone to attend and participate in these town halls. These settings give me an important opportunity to hear directly from the Oklahoman I am representing, and they provide a chance for Oklahomans to her my views on current legislation in Congress,” Coburn said in a statement released by his office.
RSU TV will air the town hall on Friday, August 19 at 9 p.m.
