Scared Sober October, an annual week on the RSU Claremore campus which promotes making good choices involving alcohol and alcohol consumption, continued Wednesday, Oct. 16, with two events.

The first event, a drunk driving simulator hosted by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, took place in the parking lot of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center (DCTC). IT allowed students to experience a drunk driving simulation by wearing specially made impairment goggles while driving a golf cart through an obstacle course.

The second event, Cookout with a Cop, took place on the patio of the DCTC. It allowed students to enjoy a free hamburger or hot dog for lunch while visiting with law enforcement officials.
