RSU’s International Students Recognized at Flag Ceremony March 4

Small international flags on top of a table with a flyer showing numerous national flags from around the worldMembers of Rogers State University’s international student body gathered in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center rotunda Tuesday afternoon at the annual International Flag Ceremony.

Hosted by the Office of Student Affairs, the come-and-go event showcased dozens of flags from around the world, representing home countries of current RSU international students, each of whom were invited to place a pin on a world map to indicate their country of origin.

RSU currently has international students enrolled from countries such as Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Fiji, France, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Portugal, Sint Maarten, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Turkey, United Kingdom, Vietnam and Zambia.
