The Claremore Progress’ Rogers County 40 Under 40 Class of 2018 features four Rogers State University faculty and staff, along with 11 other RSU alumni and current or former students.
Among the honorees are the following RSU faculty and staff members: Justin Barkley, Head Men’s Basketball Coach; Calli Knight Payne, Coordinator of Career Services; Christian Mackey, Instructor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology; and Audrey Schmidt, Assistant Director of Admissions.
The 11 RSU alumni and current or former students include: Cydney Baron of the Claremore Progress; Allison Burkhead of the Claremore Collective; Ofelia Chavoya (posthumous) of Taylor Law; Gavin Gatrell of the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office; Kayleigh Hossack of the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority; Jake Krumwiede of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum; Kara Lenard of Claremore Market; Kurt LeVan of the Oklahoma Air National Guard; Ellie Lillie of Pelco Structural LLC; Alexandra Seifried of Safenet Services; and J.P. Seifried of Seifried CPAs.
“Having a four-year regional university in Rogers County improves the quality of life in our community, and this list is testament to the impact RSU continues to make in Rogers County,” said RSU President Dr. Larry Rice. “We are honored to have so many young community leaders from RSU represented in the 40 Under 40 Class of 2018.”
The 40 Under 40 award recipients will be honored in an awards ceremony and reception on Thursday, Aug. 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore.
