A special event designed for students at two-year community colleges who are interested in transferring to Rogers State University will be held on Thursday, April 6, on the RSU campus in Claremore.
The first annual RSU Transfer Day, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Enrollment Center, located on the second floor of Markham Hall.
Participants will be able to take a guided tour of the RSU campus, meet individually with enrollment and financial aid counselors, apply for admission and financial aid, receive academic advising from a faculty member and enroll in summer or fall classes.
“This event will provide community college students an opportunity to handle all requirements to transfer to RSU in the summer or fall, all in one convenient time and location,” said Lindsay Fields, RSU director of enrollment management.
To enroll, transfer students will need official transcripts from every college attended, ACT scores (if you are under 21 years of age), and an official high school transcript or GED certificate (if you have completed less than 24 college credit hours.)
RSU offers bachelor’s degrees in a wide variety of disciplines, including applied technology, biology, business administration, business information technology, communications, game development (pending approval), justice administration, liberal arts, and more. Many of these degrees offer multiple options for specialization.
Refreshments will be served. Registration is not required but is encouraged to ensure that all students will be able to meet with an academic advisor. For more information, or to register for RSU Transfer Day, contact Julie Rampey at (918) 343-7629 or 1-800-256-7511.
