The Rogers State University Alumni Association will hold a kick-off reception for its new Bartlesville chapter on Monday, April 5.
The kick-off reception will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the sixth floor of the RSU campus, located at Fourth Street (University Avenue) and Dewey Avenue in downtown Bartlesville. RSU President Dr. Larry Rice will welcome new members of the alumni association to the event. Refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to all RSU alumni, including those who graduated from RSU’s predecessor institutions, including Oklahoma Military Academy, Claremore Junior College, Rogers State College and Rogers University.
“This new chapter of the RSU Alumni Association represents the continuing expansion of the organization as well as a special effort to reach out to Bartlesville-area alumni,” said Stephany Foutch, RSU director of alumni relations. “As enrollment at the RSU campus in Bartlesville continues to increase, we have more alumni who live in the region and have expressed interested in a local chapter.”
The kick-off reception is being coordinated by Emily Call, vice president of marketing for the Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce, and other Bartlesville-area alumni, Foutch said.
The cost to join the RSU Alumni Association is $20 per year or $200 for a lifetime membership, she said.
