The Rogers State University theatre department will present two performances of Craig Baxter’s “Re: Design” on March 10 and 11.
The Thursday, March 10, performance will be held at 4:30 p.m. The Friday, March 11, performance will be at 7:07 p.m. Both will be held in the Performance Studio in Baird Hall on RSU’s Claremore campus.
“Re: Design” chronicles the relationship between Charles Darwin and Asa Gray over nearly 40 years. It focuses on intimate discussions of the implications of their scientific work for their personal beliefs and for religious belief in general. The script uses entirely Darwin’s own words and those of his correspondents taken from their letters and from reminiscences.
Dr. David Blakely, RSU associate professor of communications and director of the theatre program, will serve as director.
Adult tickets are available for $5 and seniors may attend for $3. Admission is free for RSU, students, faculty and staff. Call (918) 343-6825 or e-mail [email protected] to reserve tickets.
