The Rogers State University Theatre Program will present “The War to End All Wars,” an original music theater piece written by Machele Miller Dill and Steven Marzolf. The production will run April 11-13 and April 18-20. Performances will be held at 7:07 p.m. at the Will Rogers Auditorium on the Claremore campus.
From the trenches to the home front, the play is about World War I and its impact on people in battle and at home, featuring period music and original songs by Chris Jett, along with excerpts from diaries and letters from the World War I era.
“The War to End All Wars” is directed by David Blakely, RSU Associate Professor and Director of the RSU Theatre Program. The cast includes Hallie Battles, an RSU freshman from Tulsa; Shea Brandt, an RSU freshman from Tulsa; Grace Campbell, a Communications sophomore from Overbrook; Jacob Canright, a Business Information Technology freshman from Tulsa; Michael Moore, a Social Science freshmen from Claremore; Ha Nguyen a Communications freshman from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; Cody Pechanec, a Justice Administration sophomore from Copan; Weston Soden, a Communications junior from Owasso; Ariel White from Broken Arrow; and Zachary Wilson, an RSU freshman from Collinsville.
Admission to the theatre production is $12 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $3 for faculty, staff, and students with RSU ID. Tickets are available at the door.
