RSU student Michaela Farrill presented her psychology research on “Exploring the Relationship Between Sex Roles and Feminism” as part of the annual Research Day held at the state capitol.
A social sciences-psychology senior from Shawnee, Farrill represented RSU during the March 26 event, which is sponsored by Oklahoma NSF EPSCoR, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the National Science Foundation. The event is designed to raise awareness of the outstanding research that is taking place at Oklahoma’s colleges and universities.
Farrill was joined at the event by her research advisor Dr. Sonya Munsell, assistant professor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at RSU. During the event, students from 17 Oklahoma colleges and universities presented poster displays about their original research and discussed details with members of the state legislature and capitol guests.
