Rogers State University has posted overall enrollment gains for the spring semester, including major increases at its campuses in Pryor and Bartlesville.
This spring, a total of 3,715 students are enrolled at RSU, an increase of 1.8 percent over last spring. In addition, the university has reported an increase in the number of student credit hours campus-wide.
“RSU has become accustomed to enrollment growth almost every semester and this spring is no exception,” said RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley . “We have experienced enrollment gains across the board.”
The enrollment increases were particularly high at the university’s campus in Pryor. This spring, 353 students are enrolled at the RSU campus in Pryor, compared to 267 students last spring for an increase of 32 percent. At the Bartlesville campus, on-site headcount enrollment increased by almost eight percent, although the number of students taking classes online dropped slightly.
Enrollment begins on Monday, April 2, for the upcoming summer and fall semesters, and a May intersession which will be offered on May 7-18.
