Rep. Earl Sears, who represents the Bartlesville area in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, will be the featured guest on RSU Public Television’s “Green Country Perspectives with Sam Jones,” at 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14.
The program will be rebroadcast at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan.16, and at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19.
During the upcoming legislative session, Rep. Sears will become chairman of the House Appropriations and Budget Committee.
Jones, who is familiar to television viewers across northeast Oklahoma, will interview Rep. Sears about his new committee chairmanship, his views on the Legislature’s plans for its upcoming session, the state budget, immigration and other issues.
“Green Country Perspectives with Sam Jones” is a locally produced program focusing on current events impacting northeast Oklahoma, now in its fifth season.
RSU Public Television is licensed to Rogers State University and is the only public TV station operated by a university in Oklahoma.
