The RSU Fine Arts Film Series opens its spring season with a free animated double feature, Thursday, January 26 in the Will Rogers Auditorium.
At 6 p.m., audiences and artists of all ages will enjoy the 2011 Disney hand-drawn production of Winnie the Pooh.
At 7:30 p.m., computer animation and fantasy literature fans can see the 2007 re-configuration of the 1,000-year-old-plus heroic story of Beowulf. Widely acclaimed for its use of digitally enhanced live action animation, Beowulf features an Academy Award-winning cast and technical crew in the production of this classic work of literature for a modern audience.
The RSU Fine Arts Film Series… Winnie the Pooh and Beowulf too! Free and open to the public on Thursday, January 26, at 6 p.m. for Winnie the Pooh (rated G), and 7:30 for Beowulf (Rated PG-13 with parental cautions for animated violence and sexual suggestiveness) in the Will Rogers Auditorium on RSU’s Claremore Campus.
