The Rogers State University Foundation will present its second annual Dollars for Scholars fundraising breakfast on Friday, Nov. 5, on the RSU campus in Claremore.
The fundraising breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. in the Ballroom of the Centennial Center.
The event is a key component of the annual giving program at the university, said Tonni Harrald, RSU director of development.
“Business and community leaders and friends of RSU will learn more about the university’s scholarship program at this event, as well as the need for additional scholarship funding to meet the growing financial needs of our students,” Harrald said.
RSU students and volunteers will make brief presentations during the one-hour event and breakfast will be served.
The goal for the breakfast is to raise $25,000 for student scholarships, Harrald said.
“We hope everyone in attendance will consider making a contribution in support of our students,” she said.
Premier Sponsors of the Dollars for Scholars fundraising breakfast are Phil and Jo Albert and Community Home Health, Inc.
Presenting Sponsors are Pat Reeder, Baker Hughes and AT&T.
Table Sponsors include Carlene Webber, Oologah Friends of RSU, J & J Pharmacy & Gifts, Rogers County Abstract, Rice Funeral Service, 1st Bank Oklahoma, Walmart, Richard Lundy, David Barron, Jack Kissee Ford, Tedford Insurance, and Conklin, Gilpin and Wertz.
