Dr. Kevin M.P. Woller has been named Assistant Professor of Psychology at Rogers State University. Woller will join the faculty of RSU’s School of Liberal Arts in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Since 1997, Woller has served as Assistant Professor of Psychology at Louisiana State University in Alexandria, La., where he taught five undergraduate psychology classes per semester, developed curriculum and coordinated student volunteer activities.
Woller also has served as an Acting Assistant Professor at Louisiana Technical University and Evaluation Consultant at the Arlington School District in Arlington, Wash. In addition, he served as a workshop leader at California Polytechnic University and Kent State University, and as a research assistant Kent State and the University of Washington in Seattle.
He received a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Kent State University, in addition to degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle and Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Wash.
He has extensive experience in counseling and psychological assessment. His current research includes work on psychological reactance theory and measurement, career development and assessment, multicultural issues, and stress reduction. His work has been published in major academic publications such as the Journal of Career Assessment and Counselling Psychology Quarterly. In addition, he has presented his work at major psychology conferences across the nation.
