Rogers State University has announced a major enrollment increase for the spring semester.
This semester, RSU has experienced a 22 percent increase in student credit hours and a 15 percent increase in headcount enrollment, compared to last spring.
This spring, a total of 2,830 students are enrolled in 27,775 credit hours on RSU’s campuses in Claremore, Bartlesville, and Pryor, as well as in its online programs. Last spring, a total of 2,461 students were enrolled in 22,771 credit hours at RSU.
This spring’s enrollment increase follows similar increases of 17.4 percent in student credit hours and 8.8 percent in headcount enrollment last fall, the largest increase of any four-year university in Oklahoma.
“We are pleased that the residents of northeast Oklahoma are continuing to enroll at RSU in significantly increasing numbers,” RSU President Joe Wiley said. “This is further evidence of the great demand for increased higher education offerings in this part of the state and the high quality of RSU’s academic programs.”
In addition, the university also experienced increases in enrollment in its online programs.
