Rogers State University has announced major enrollment increases for the spring semester.
Compared to last spring, RSU has experienced an 11.7 percent increase in first-time freshmen students, a 7.9 percent increase in student credit hours and a 7.9 percent increase in overall headcount enrollment.
This semester, a total of 3,442 students are enrolled in 34,801 credit hours on RSU’s campuses in Claremore, Bartlesville, and Pryor, as well as in its online programs. Last spring, a total of 3,191 students were enrolled in 32,260 credit hours at RSU.
“The significant increases in enrollment at RSU reflect the continuing demand for higher education in this region of Oklahoma,” said RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley.
During the last several years, RSU has been the fastest-growing university in the state. Since 2000, when RSU was accredited as a four-year university, full-time equivalency enrollment has increased by 53 percent and overall headcount enrollment has grown by 36 percent.
Enrollment for the upcoming summer and fall semesters at RSU will begin in April. For more information about enrolling at RSU, call (918) 343-7546.
