Rogers State University has announced major enrollment increases for the spring semester.
When compared to last spring, RSU has experienced a 38.6 percent increase in first-time freshmen students, a 14.9 percent increase in student credit hours and a 12.1 percent increase in overall headcount enrollment.
This semester, a total of 3,192 students are enrolled in 32,310 credit hours on RSU’s campuses in Claremore, Bartlesville, and Pryor, as well as in its online programs. Last spring, a total of 2,847 students were enrolled in 28,115 credit hours at RSU.
“This eighth consecutive semester of significant enrollment increases at RSU reflects the continuing demand for higher education in this region of Oklahoma,” said RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley. “It also reflects increasing interest in RSU’s high-quality academic programs.”
During the last few years, RSU has been the fastest-growing university in Oklahoma, posting consistently high enrollment increases since the institution was accredited as a four-year university in August 2000.
Enrollment for the upcoming summer and fall semesters at RSU will begin in April. For more information about enrolling at RSU, call (918) 343-7546.
