Rogers State University alumnus Brandon Gaffney has been named to Oklahoma Magazine’s 2024 “40 Under 40” list of top professionals.
Broken Arrow resident Gaffney graduated from RSU in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration: management and a minor in art/graphic design.
Gaffney currently serves as senior vice president and director of marketing for Regent Bank.
“Being selected for the ‘40 Under 40’ feels like the hard work I’ve put in is paying off,” Gaffney said. “There were several classes (at RSU) that I feel prepared me for the business world, specifically Leadership and Decision Making. I remember going through lots of scenarios in the workplace and how we would handle those situations. It really opened my mind to how I should be thinking when I got into the workforce.”
While at RSU, Gaffney was active in Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity (serving as president), Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society, was an Oklahoma Governor’s Cup finalist, RSU Art Society, and studied abroad in Montone, Italy, for art and design.
“Looking back, managing more than 40 gentlemen in their college years (in his leadership roles in the fraternity and business honor society) and trying to help lead, guide and direct them was extremely challenging, but it also taught me a lot about managing a dynamic team that may not always think like you.”
Published annually to honor Oklahoma’s brightest professionals, Oklahoma Magazine’s “40 Under 40” is a list which recognizes individuals from around the state who represent a variety of industries and exhibit hard work, philanthropy and leadership.
