Rogers State University’s Office of Admissions has scheduled the dates for Saturday tours of the Claremore campus during the spring 2024 semester.
Campus tours offer prospective students and their families the opportunity to take a walking tour of the Claremore campus and to learn about life on the Hill and what it means to be a Hillcat.
“Our Saturday tours are designed to be open to students who can’t make it to campus during the week, especially for them to bring their parents or guardians on these visits as it’s often difficult for them to take off work during the week,” said RSU Campus Visits and Events Coordinator Natalia Sumner. “The tours give the prospective students – and their parents – the chance to see not only what the campus is like but to learn about RSU’s history, housing and buildings.”
“It’s the same full campus tour they would receive during the week, but with the accessibility of it being held on a weekend,” she said.
All tours are led by a student ambassador or recruiter and are free of charge.
“Something that’s almost always observed by those who take the tours is how walkable our campus is. That’s something we hear a lot,” Sumner said. “The tour guides also answer any questions that members of the group might have, and it’s not uncommon for people to decide to attend RSU after taking one of these campus tours.”
Saturday tour dates for the Spring 2024 semester will be held on Jan. 20, Feb. 3, March 2, April 27, and May 18. Tours begin at 9 a.m. at Markham Hall and usually conclude by 11 a.m.
