Rogers State University students new and old converged on the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center lawn for the annual Big Tent Day Wednesday, Aug. 16. The annual event hosted 110 different groups and vendors from RSU, as well as Claremore and Rogers County, in an inclusive event that allowed attendees to learn about campus and area resources and organizations.
Free refreshments and snacks were provided to attendees, with restaurants such as Chick-Fil-A and Papa Johns handing out free food. Additionally, the event gave attending students the chance to learn about various internship opportunities and employment. Big Tent Day started at 9:30 a.m. and continued until 2 p.m.
