Rogers State University kicked off its recognition of the holiday season with its Holiday on the Hill ceremony.
Held Monday, Dec. 2, the annual winter event took place in front of Preparatory Hall. The evening included Christmas carols sung by local school children, hot cocoa and cookies, and the ceremonial lighting of the campus by Interim President Dr. Mark Rasor, followed by a visit from Santa Claus, who welcomed the young – and the young at heart – to have their picture taken with him throughout the evening.
Rogers State University is a regional university serving northeastern Oklahoma and is the only four-year public residential university in the Tulsa metropolitan area.
