The Stratton Taylor Library at Rogers State University has named Dr. Ken Hicks, assistant professor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, as the library’s patron of the year.
Hicks was presented with the award Wednesday by Alan Lawless, library director. Hicks was chosen for the award for his former leadership on the university’s library committee and for helping expand the library collection, specifically in the political science section.
Hicks will be presenting the library’s May 5 book review on “Arrogance,” former CBS reporter Bernard Goldberg’s latest book on the issue of media bias. For more information, call the library at 343-7716.
