Freshmen who have gained admission or enrolled for the fall semester at Rogers State University are invited to attend “Summer Saturdays” on June 4 and July 9 at the RSU campus in Claremore.
“Summer Saturdays” are designed to help new freshmen complete all preparations for attending RSU in the fall. The half-day events will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Student Union.
Students will be able to meet faculty members, receive academic advising, select and enroll in classes, get their RSU photo identification card and complete all paperwork required for the fall semester, at one convenient time and location.
If students have not applied for financial aid or scholarships, they will be able to meet with financial aid counselors and complete the application process. In addition, students can set up easy tuition payment plans at the event.
Students also can buy their required books at the RSU Bookstore and receive information about student organizations, including the newly established fraternity and sorority, by visiting booths staffed by student representatives in the Student Union.
Students may need to receive certain immunizations according to state law. Health information and immunizations will be provided at “Summer Saturdays” by the RSU Student Health Center.
Those who have already completed preparations for the fall semester may take a tour of the campus and locate their classes. Parents and families are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
To register for “Summer Saturdays,” or to receive further information, call Laura Pollard at the RSU Enrollment Center at (918) 343-7751 or 1-800-256-7511, or send an email to [email protected].
