Rogers State University encourages all current and future RSU students to complete their 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to help unlock their potential for financial aid assistance, such as financial aid packages, scholarships, grants and more.

The 2025-26 FAFSA officially opened Dec. 1, 2024, and the FAFSA should be completed by all new and returning students planning to attend RSU during the 2025-26 academic year, including the fall 2025, spring 2026 and summer 2026 semesters.

Rogers State University’s Office of Financial Aid is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals by providing the best financial information available and reviewing options based on students’ financial status and needs.

One of the most important means by which the financial aid office achieves this is through the FAFSA, the information on which determines how much financial aid a student is eligible to receive to help pay for college, giving the applicants potential access to federal financial aid, such as grants and work-study programs, as well as the option to use available federal Direct Loans.

Many students underestimate their financial need or presume they don’t qualify for financial aid, but it’s critical for every student – whether they be a high school senior entering college, a college student transfering to RSU, or a returning RSU student – to complete the FAFSA.

Final FAFSA results are used by RSU, its Foundation, and the State of Oklahoma for determining other awards than what are provided directly by the FAFSA, like the Pell Grant. Most of RSU’s scholarships depend on being able to see those results. State awards like Oklahoma’s Promise require annual FAFSA completion.

All first-time FAFSA filers are required to create a FAFSA ID to complete the application.”

Tuition cost to attend Rogers State University is $3,875 per semester for full-time students who are Oklahoma residents, less than tuition costs relative to most other Oklahoma universities. By completing the FAFSA, students may be eligible for federal grants, possibly making their RSU education even more affordable. Students that do not apply will not be considered for these grants.

Incoming and returning Fall 2025 students are encouraged to get their FAFSA completed as soon as possible as one of the award considerations for many of the scholarships and some of the grants are based upon who submitted their FAFSA the earliest.

Students completing the FAFSA for attendance to Rogers State University must use the school code 003168.
