ConocoPhillips has presented Rogers State University a generous grant to continue their support of the RSU Bartlesville campus and educational programs.
This gift perpetuates the ConocoPhillips Opportunity Scholarship program. It also strengthens the programs offered at the RSU Bartlesville campus, while helping to fund a comprehensive study regarding the unmet public higher education needs in the Bartlesville area.
“We are very pleased to receive this gift from ConocoPhillips,” said RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley. “We truly appreciate ConocoPhillips’ support of higher education in our community and believe this gift will help strengthen our educational programs.”
“I have had the opportunity to see first hand many of the accomplishments of RSU. I am impressed with the tremendous growth of the student body and the leadership of the institution,” said Norman Towler, Manager of Global Enterprise and Infrastructure Services at ConocoPhillips and member of the RSU Foundation Board. “I also want to emphasize RSU’s significant contributions in the area of academic and community partnerships.”
In addition to Norman Towler, Kelly Diven, President and CEO of the 66 Federal Credit Union in Bartlesville, serves on the RSU Foundation Board.
