Three candidates for Cherokee Nation Principal Chief will participate in a live broadcast and livestreaming public forum 7 p.m. Thursday on RSU Public TV, RSU TV Facebook and RSU.tv.
Participating candidates (in alphabetical order) will be Chuck Hoskin, Jr., Dick Lay and David Walkingstick.
The question panel includes Brandon Scott, executive editor of the Cherokee Phoenix, and Graham Lee Brewer, contributing editor for Tribal Affairs and High Country News. RSU TV General Manager Royal Aills will moderate the forum.
“This event is one of the many ways we, here at RSU Public TV, fulfill our public service commitment to the viewers within our region,” Aills said.
Viewers can access RSU Public TV over the air at Channel 35-1, on Cox Cable Channel 86 or DISH and Direct TV satellite channel 35.
