Rogers State University’s Office of Career Services office will be hosting its career fair on Wednesday, April 13 on the RSU campus.
This event, which will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the atrium of Herrington Hall, is free and open to all area job seekers.
The career fair will allow participants to interact with employers from throughout Claremore, Pryor, Tulsa and the surrounding area. Door prizes donated by area companies will be distributed during the event.
Sarah Covert, RSU director of career services, said the event has provided a welcome environment for area employers and job seekers to interact.
“Our career fairs have received positive responses from areas companies as well as those who have attended looking to start a new career or to switch professions,” she said.
Companies, schools and organizations scheduled to participate include: Air Force Officer Accessions, Becker CPA Review, CAP – Early Childhood Program, Cherokee Nation Enterprises, Cingular Wireless, City of Owasso, Fastenal Company, McCaskill Financial Group, Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Oklahoma Military Department, Oral Roberts University – School of Business, OSU Environmental Science Program & Engineering, Tulsa Police Department, U.S. Army, Vector Marketing, and Workforce.
Covert encouraged all attendees to dress professionally, present a positive attitude and bring lots of resumes.
