When moving into any student apartments at RSU, it’s important to avoid bringing the following items to ensure a smoother transition.
- Any appliance with an open coil or flame to include:
- Outdoor grill
- Electric skillets or griddle
- Deep fryers
- Broilers
- Blackout curtains
- Flammable materials of any kind including candles
- Sun and halogen lamps
- Space heaters
- Darts and dart boards
- Wallpaper and wallpaper border
- Interior/exterior paint
- Street or other public signs
- Loud heavy bass stereo equipment
- Pets except fish in well-maintained 5 gallon or less aquarium
- Alcoholic beverage containers (even for decoration)
- Any type of tobacco products
- ANY TYPE OF WEAPON OR AMMUNITION including:
- Paintball Guns
- Air Guns
Additionally, the following items for UVC are not needed as they are provided:
- Mini refrigerator (already provided)
- Microwave (already provided)
