Area businesses and organizations are invited to promote their services, volunteer opportunities and job openings to students at Rogers State University’s Big Tent Day.
The event will be held Wednesday, August 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Lawn of RSU’s Claremore campus, 1701 W. Will Rogers Blvd.
RSU Career Services in conjunction with Campus Activities Team (C.A.T.) host the annual Big Tent Day and Part-Time Job Fair each year to introduce new students to RSU and Claremore-area organizations. Campus departments will be showcasing degree options, student organizations, student employment opportunities and resources.
The event is free for students and exhibitors.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to get involved on campus and inform students,” said Calli Knight Payne, Coordinator of Career Services. “We hope to continue the tradition of providing a great event that will help students while building partnerships with our local businesses.”
