The Rogers State University’s Baptist Collegiate Ministry will host its “LAN Party” at 6 p.m., Friday, April 5, at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry building, 2020 W. Blue Star Dr. in Claremore.
The LAN Party is free and open to the public. Free food is provided.
BCM’s LAN Party attendees are encouraged to bring computers or a game console of choice to participate in an all-night video game party. The BCM will host four large video game tournaments at the event: Super Smash Bros., Halo, Wolfenstein E.T. and Interstate ’82. Prizes are given to each tournament winner. An array of video games and tournaments can be played throughout the night (i.e. Minecraft, Age of Empires, StarCraft etc.).
Raffle tickets will be distributed upon admission. A $50 Visa gift card and a t-shirt will be given to the raffle winner during the event. Attendees have the chance to obtain information and raffle tickets prior to the event at 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, at the Centennial Center Rotunda at the Claremore campus.
“I look forward to the LAN Party every semester because it’s a great time to hang out with friends, relax and play some games,” said Denver Poteet, an RSU alumnus from the Game Development program.
