RSU Claremore Campus
Regional school teams will design, build, and fly a drone as well as program autonomous flights on a DJI Robomaster TT drone. They will then pilot a Mavic Mini drone through a free flight obstacle course at the Roger’s State University’s Claremore campus.
This experience introduces learners to drone coding and basic drone piloting skills. These learners will work together to compete and be judged. At the completion of the event, schools from around the state will gather for an award ceremony and hear from a keynote speaker.
Teams will interface with RSU’s AeroCats STEM Training Team who will provide mentorship and technical support for the drone flights and team-building process at their school and day of competition.
Guests, parents, students, and other members of the public are welcome to attend as spectators on the day of the event.
Registration
The first 15 eligible teams (1 team per school, unless space is available) registering will be invited to participate. Previous AeroGames teams will be given first preference due to limited space. Teams can have up to 10 team members and unlimited team sponsors (teachers, coaches, etc.).
Please Note: All participants must fill out a Waiver and Release of Liability (pdf) form and bring it with them to the Games.
