The following digital badges are available for current students and non-degree seeking students. You must apply to receive each badge after completing the earning criteria.
Critical Thinking Skills
Earners of the Critical Thinking badge have developed intellectual skills necessary to conceptualize, apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to formulate justified beliefs and initiate prudent actions. Earners of the badge will also have developed knowledge of values and ethics as well the fundamentals of language acquisition and use.
Earning Criteria
Complete three specialized courses with a grade C or better:
- PHIL 1113: Introduction to Philosophy
- PHIL 1313: Values and Ethics
- LANG 1113: Foundations of World Languages
