Earn more with Reach Higher.

Just how valuable is a college degree? On average, a college graduate will earn $1.1 million more than a high school graduate over the course of a lifetime. As a Reach Higher graduate, you’ll have the leadership training, communication skills and business knowledge you need to qualify for enhanced career opportunities and greater earning power.

What is Reach Higher?

Available at nine public universities in Oklahoma, Reach Higher is a degree completion program for working adults. Using your existing college credits, a local program coordinator will help you develop a degree completion program that works with your schedule.

  • On-campus and online class options
  • Affordable eight-week classes (27 credits of the program core are 8-weeks; all other needed classes are the traditional 16-week)
  • Five enrollment periods per year
  • Flexible course schedules
  • A Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership upon graduation

Program Requirements

  • Have earned at least 60 hours of college credit and a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Have completed general education requirements

At RSU, we understand that you have a full-time job and a family to support. We can work around that. This program is offered in convenient eight-week courses throughout the year in Claremore, Bartlesville, and online. Students will be allowed to enroll in the program at four times throughout the year. They will be placed into classes with their peers, allowing them the opportunity to study together and share their experiences. Most assignments may be completed online, providing a maximum level of flexibility.

Program curriculum consists of classes that cover topics and skills important in today’s workforce, including organizational behavior, ethics, interpersonal skills, management, finance, communication, group projects and senior capstone.

The curriculum was developed by faculty throughout the state with feedback from business and industry leaders in Oklahoma and assistance from the Council on Adult and Experiential Learning. The broad-based degree will prepare students for a wide variety of careers including education, government and corporate and non-profit environments.

See RSU’s Tuition & Fees. Textbook costs will vary by course, and financial aid is available for qualified students. Your employer may provide tuition reimbursement. Check with your human resources department.
