RSU Public TV to Present Rogers County Candidate Forum Oct. 26

Candidates seeking the offices of Rogers County Commission District 1 and 3, State Representative for District 9 and Rogers County Assessor will participate in a public forum on Tuesday, Oct. 26.

The Rogers County Candidate Forum will be held at 7 p.m. at the Claremore Community Center on 2301 N Sioux Ave. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

Moderator of the forum will be Dan Schiedel, general manager of RSU Public Television.

The candidates participating in the forum will include Blake Lewis (R) and Dan DeLozier (D), who are running for Rogers County Commission District 1; Kirt L. Thacker (R) and Leon Hershberger (D), Rogers County Commission District 3; Marty Quinn (R) and Eric Cullen (D), who are competing for State Representative for District 9; and Scott D. Marsh (R) and Brian Wilson (D), candidates for Rogers County Assessor.

The forum will be broadcast at 9 p.m. on RSU Public Television, which can be viewed across northeast Oklahoma. Those attending the forum will be asked to take their seats no later than 6:50 p.m. to allow for the taping.

The forum will be rebroadcast at 10:30 p.m. on Oct.29 and at 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 on RSU Public Television.
