Rogers State University has recorded an enrollment increase of more than 10 percent for the summer semester.
This summer, 1,434 students are enrolled on RSU’s campuses in Claremore, Bartlesville and Pryor, as well as in its online programs, compared to 1,301 students last summer.
The largest increase was at the Bartlesville campus, where summer enrollment increased by more than 18 percent.
“Much of this growth is due to RSU’s expanding reputation for excellence in education across northeast Oklahoma,” said RSU President Dr. Larry Rice. “In a challenging economy, the value of higher education and preparing our students for the future has never been more important.”
The summer semester began on June 1 and will end on July 27.
Enrollment is currently underway for the fall semester, which begins on Aug. 12, and financial aid is still available for many students. For more information, visit www.rsu.edu or contact the enrollment office at any RSU campus.
