The Society for Human Resource Management has acknowledged that the human resources program at Rogers State University aligns with the recommended curriculum to prepare qualified human resources professionals.
Human Resources Management is a program option of the RSU Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
SHRM is the largest association devoted to human resource management, with more than 200,000 members in more than 70 countries. It has reviewed the human resources programs at business schools around the world to ensure graduates are properly prepared to be productive members of the workforce.
Students involved in the SHRM chapter at RSU enjoy professional benefits such as awards and scholarships, access to job postings and internship opportunities, professional conference invitations and student competitions.
“Our students have the assurance that the education they receive at RSU is recognized for producing quality graduates who are ready to contribute in the workplace,” said Dr. MaryRose Lamb Hart, associate professor of business and faculty advisor for the RSU chapter of SHRM.
