The Rogers State University President’s Leadership Class will host the 8th annual “RSU’s Got Talent” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, in the Will Rogers Auditorium on RSU’s Claremore campus.
All students are invited to the show to support their fellow students and enjoy unforgettable great acts of talent. The talent show is $2, or two canned foods items, proceeds will benefit a local food bank. The show is also open to the public.
Past editions of “RSU’s Got Talent” have featured performances including musical acts, magic displays, stand-up comedy, dancing and more.
Auditions for this year’s event from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24 and Tuesday, Feb. 25 in the auditorium. A rehearsal will be held the day before the performance.
Awards will be given for best of show and crowd favorite. A panel of judges will name the first place act. The audience will choose the crowd favorite by putting donations into jars labeled for the performers. The act that receives the largest donation amount will win one-half of the crowd favorite proceeds and PLC will donate the other half to a local food bank.
