Eighteen students were recently inducted into the Rogers State University chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology that promotes excellence and service in the field.
Psi Chi membership is limited to students with a minimum 3.25 GPA in psychology and related courses and who are in the top 35% of the university by rank. Since RSU’s chapter was added in 2003, 210 RSU students have been inducted into the society.
“Psi Chi recognizes and promotes service to the academy and service to the community, and many of these students have already demonstrated these abilities,” said Dr. Kevin M. P. Woller, RSU Psychology Professor and Psi Chi advisor. “Our officers and members have excelled in both areas since our chapter was established in 2003, and I look forward to see what our new recruits will accomplish.”
