Rogers State University Department of History and Political Science faculty, students, recent alumni and their guests attended the 23rd John W. Hager Distinguished Lecture at the University of Tulsa College of Law on Thursday, Oct. 17.
At the lecture, Dr. Eric Foner presented on his latest book, “The Second Founding: How the Civil War and Reconstruction Remade the Constitution.” Foner is the DeWitt Clinton Professor Emeritus of History at Columbia University and widely considered the pre-eminent American historian of the Reconstruction Era.
