Rogers State University’s Social Justice League and Psi Chi Chapter are hosting the 10th Annual Mental Wealth Day event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center on the Claremore campus.
Mental Wealth Day is the largest student-organized event at RSU. The event is free, open to the public and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about community resources, careers, and educational opportunities in the fields of mental health and social work. Partner organizations from the community including Grand Lake Mental Health, and CREOKS Mental Health Services along with RSU faculty and staff will present seminars on a wide variety topics focused on self-care and stress management.
Additional activities include laughter yoga and free massages.
