Rogers State University students, faculty, and staff participated in the Tulsa National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) Walk at Veterans Park on Saturday in Tulsa.
RSU received special recognition for being the largest team and also placed second for team fundraising with $2,467 raised. Dr. Sonya Munsell, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Sociology, earned recognition for being the second highest individual fundraiser, raising $1,851.
Tulsa is one of 95 communities nationally organizing NEDA Walks to fund eating disorders education, prevention, and support, as well as advocacy and research initiatives.
