Rogers State University, MidAmerica Industrial Park and Google celebrated the opening of the RSU Pryor Tech Lab that includes computer workstations, three-dimensional printers, and work spaces for building and testing drone technology.
The opening of the RSU Tech Lab is the first phase in RSU’s ongoing partnership with MidAmerica Industrial Park and Google to help meet the educations needs of business and industry in northeastern Oklahoma.
The RSU Pryor Tech Lab supports existing university technology programs and activities and will support new programs focused on learners outside of traditional degree programs. These programs would include individuals who require additional technology, soft-skills, and/or certifications before entering the workforce or for advancing their current careers.
The ribbon cutting ceremony coincided with the conclusion of RSU Pryor’s AeroCamp, which provides drone and aerospace programs for area middle school students.
