Several outstanding scholars from across the state have been named to the inaugural class of the Rogers State University Honors Program.
Beginning this fall, the RSU Honors Program will provide unique opportunities for students who have demonstrated high academic performance.
Students selected for the Honors Program will enroll in specialized honors classes with curriculum containing additional academic challenges. Opportunities also exist for the students to engage in joint research projects with faculty and other involvement within the student’s area of academic interest.
The program also has a strong “service learning” emphasis that will allow students to engage in service with government agencies, social service agencies, or non-commercial entities.
The Honors Program students will receive a scholarship package that fully covers tuition, fees, books, on-campus housing and an annual stipend.
To be considered for the Honors Program, students must have received an ACT composite score of at least 25 and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3.
