Enrollment at Rogers State University has increased for the 14th semester in a row, with enrollment for the spring semester growing by three percent.
This spring, a total of 3,540 students are enrolled at RSU, compared to 3,441 students last spring. In addition, the number of student credit hours increased over last spring.
RSU has experienced major increases in enrollment each semester since it was accredited as a four-year university in 2000, earning it the title of Oklahoma’s fastest-growing university. Since 2000, full-time equivalency enrollment at RSU has increased by 65 percent and overall headcount enrollment has grown by 51 percent.
“The remarkable rate of enrollment growth at RSU is a reflection of the continued strong demand for higher education in the region and interest in innovative degree programs offered by the university,” said RSU President Dr. Joe Wiley.
RSU offers 14 bachelor’s degrees and 20 associate’s degrees and is expected to add more degree programs in the future in response to student and employer demands.
Enrollment for RSU summer and fall classes will begin on April 4. For more information about enrolling at RSU, call (918) 343-7546 or 1-800-256-7511.
