Rogers State University will host an open house at its Pryor campus to provide prospective students with information about the university’s academic programs and financial aid opportunities available to them.
The open house will be held Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pryor campus, located at 421 S. Elliott. The event is free and open to the public.
University representatives will be on hand to discuss RSU’s academic offerings and enrollment process, as well as answer questions about available financial aid opportunities.
Kyle Davis, an education specialist with the Education Opportunity Center at RSU, will present a financial aid workshop at 9:30 a.m.
“Our open house is intended to answer questions that students and their families might have about the basics of getting a college education, and how best to afford it,” said Leann Burger, director of RSU’s Pryor campus.
RSU has been Oklahoma’s fastest growing university since 2000, when it began offering bachelor’s degrees. The university currently offers five bachelor’s degrees and associate’s degrees in more than 20 fields. In addition, RSU is committed to making a university education within the reach of area students. The RSU financial aid office awards more than $3.6 million annually to students based on financial need and academic achievement.
